50's Retro Walls

Here's what the (2) remaining walls in the kitchen look like. Wouldn't YOU want to paint this?

Okay, you can paint over wallpaper as long as you prime it and make sure your seams of the wallpaper aren't overlapping or it will show. However G has asked me to help with the bathroom wallpapering and I would love to help! I would also like to go with you to pick out paper because there is so much waste if you get something that has to be matched up at the seams and makes the job so much harder. if you decide to paper the kitchen instead, i'm there for you. Even though i am an old fashioned kinda girl and love my antique look of my home, that paper definitely has to go. Just let me know when you're ready, I have packed, moved, unpacked and got my place decorated and done in three weeks, I'm all yours when ready. I'm so happy and excited for you both. It's also nice that Trace and I are in between your house and Fredericksburg. G and I were discussing how much noise you have living in downtown areas. The first night we were in our new apartment, Trace opened the window and said "honey, I opened the window and all I hear is crickets, no horse and buggies, no hell raising amish boys, no smell of horse crap and pizza." We have dissolved into our "DIVINE TRANQUILITY" as Trace calls it. I know you and Greg will love you own piece of heaven too. Love you both.

Thanks, Teri. That means a lot. I know you helped your Mom do her wallpapering. G's been telling me for some time now that you are good at it. We'll talk soon, k?

Why on Earth would you want to paint over that? It looks like it would match soooo many colors!J.K.

That's wonderful wallpaper! You've never seen the metalic green, red, and gold in my kitchen? Where's my camera; I'll post a pic.

YOu didn't mention the driveway. Please don't say its gravel. I hate riding Becca on gravel when I visit next Spring.

Hmmmm I love a lot of old fashioned retro style decor, but I'm not loving that wallpaper one bit!
